Unless all the people bashing it already have the tl, I really don't understand them.

yeah, it's too bad that anything asot tends to get these elitist's panties all mangled up and stuff.

these fools cannot go a minute without chiming in on the latest asot topic with a hearty quip testifying to their wit.

honestly i'm sick of it.

Under the trademark A STATE OF TRANCE, the label and the worldwide known radioshow off Armin van Buuren, Armin has made a selection of 40 classic trance tunes, which will appear on the CD in full version.

This not only offers a great view of the biggestTrance Classics, but as there has been a complete change amongst the Dj’s from vinyl to CD, the 40 full versions are a perfect Djtool for the growing population of CD- DJ’s.

This is a real reason to sh*t up and buy the cd's. A lot of those tunes were never released on the CD format and here is a chance. Yeah maybe the tracklist will suck but i don't care TBH as this isn't one of these trance mixes,it's unmixed with THE FULL VERSIONS. For crying out loud stop bashing

Okay then, let's see. If the tracklist does turn out to be a good, comprehensive list of real trance classics then we'll all shut the up. However, if it turns out to be shallow, label-whoring and totally unrepresentative, you lot can eat your words.

as its considerably cheaper to release the tune from ASOT labels, i dont think they will licence alot of older tracks from other company's ..

who knows. its always cool to have alot of full tracks for some people. I prefer to have the real vinyls, just because it feels more real.. i'm a bit nogalstic I think.

not really mate, vinyl has a special aura about it, the crackling at the start of a tune, the needle skips, all the things that make it sound 'real' whereas a cd is too precise.

Its like having a Trancemaster compilation with most of the popular songs from the past few years. I don't see why you people don't bash Trancemaster releases, they're basically newer ASOT tunes.

I'm sure it'll be a fair representation of popular ASOT airplay tunes, maybe it wont fit the definition of 'classic' for most people, but you'll be hard pressed to not find a few songs you enjoy on this compilation IMO.
