Longterm Solution For Iran - Split Up The Country As Was Done In Yugoslavia

If Iran does decide to take on some of its neighbors, or go after the US and Europe I believe the longterm solution should be to split up the country.
I know that's easier said then done, but the deeper I dig into this country, the more that seems to be the most logical solution. Over half of the Iranian population isn't actually Iranian, or more precisely Persian.
The best example are the Kurds. I believe they are among the most peaceful tribes/nations in the region. I think the Kurds in Iran should be given AT LEAST the same kind of autonomy that the US has helped given the Kurds in Iraq (currently the most stable part of Iraq)

we need to remember that Persia was once one of the greatest empires in the world, but back then it was also one of the more civilized and cultural in the world, and as such rivaled Greece and ancient Rome. This is a country that has a very rich history and culture, and I believe the fanatical/fundamentalist Shiite regime currently in power is sending this country back into the stone age rather then to the age of enlightment.

I don't think the US should be alone in helping to change the area currently known as Iran. I think Iran's neighbors, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and Turkey, should all have a hand in making this country down the road a better place. Iran's neighbors undoubtebly know this country better then the US, and at the same time this will ease hostilities between the West and the Moslim world.

It's sad that the UN is currently such a weak body that it isn't able to respond appropriately to a regime that is trying to become the Nazi party of the 21st Century. Whether the Iranian threat is defused now or in a couple of years, I believe that what will bring longterm stability to the region is the dimantling and restructuring of the country of Iran.

What a in you are, all you want is to split up people and their lives. Thats what you did with North Korea/South Korea, North vietnam/South Vietnam, India/Pakistan.... Thats what you will do in Iraq too right? Between Sunni and Shia split up the country into two and let them fight rest of their lives.

I hope your house gets split up into two.

It seems to have worked in Yugoslavia - ask countries like Slovenia, Croatia, or Bosnia (a Moslim country).
I also suspect the citizens of South Korea are VERY happy they are not one with North Korea, and that they don't live under a Communist dictatorship.

Iran doesn't treat all its citizens equally, and at the same time is looking to further expand. I believe the opposite needs to happen - the current regime needs to be taken down, and the country needs to be split apart.

If that makes me a , then so be it :)

Ya than split US into 5 countries too. One for Mexicans, one for blacks, one for chav whites, one for white...

Make another country in France to get equal treatment to its black community.

All you want to do is fuc up a normal decent country, just because it is a 'moslim' country.

The United States of America is a melting pot of cultures, races, and religions. That is not the case in Iran.

While Iran claims certain countries in the Middle East are oppressive and "occupying forces" all that shows me is hypocrisy. Iran is one to talk - it is forcefully occupying itself in places where it is not wanted or needed. I made the example of the Kurds in Iran should get their own country. Last time I checked Minnestoa and Nevada don't want to be parts of two different nations so a US comparison is absurd.
I'm saying Iran mistreats its citizens of the Bahai faith, denying them many rights they give to other of its citizens.
And that's just the start...

up a normal decent country just because its Moslim? I don't think so. if you think Iran is a normal "decent" country then sadly you're the one whose ed up.

Actually, the US is not a melting pot. A melting pot is when all cultures gather together and not form separate neighborhoods. The US is a toss salad and that is what the majority of socialogists believe too.

In short, US no melting pot.

Why is it that when there's an earthquake in Iran the Western world, including the US, shows concern and wants to help, but when there's a hurricane that effects Southern Mississippi and New Orleans you see Iranians dancing in the streets?
