The 5.1 is very nice even though the sound gets too loud and too soft very often. The visuals on the dvd are good and bad with some I don't care for. I havent listened to the actual cd yet but just going by the dvd it is good but not great. I was expecting more and in the end I felt like I was listening to a demo for movie execs to ask BT to do the score. I give the album a 7/10 and that is with an added +1 for being a fanboy =).

amazing cd, and while the music is the main reason anyone should buy this, the little peripheral touches are greatly appreciated like how the cd case has BT in Morse code on it, cd being dedicated to his dog, and the awesome dvd. While some of the videos are pretty random, one being lame kinda (it could also be I dont understand it), overall they're very enjoyable to watch with the music.

It also helps I recently installed a LCD tv w/ 5.1 speaker system in my room so I could really feel the music. Listening to it in 5.1 sound really elevates the music for me from listening to it in my car. Either way though, the music is still amazing with track 1 probably being my favorite, also Goodmorning Kaia, track 5, and of special interest due to how much diversity is in the song, track 2 which goes from guitar melody to groovy jazz piano and everything else.

BT fails to disappoint from rare and remixed cd to emotional technology to what I would say is his best cd. Anyone interested in peaceful and thought evoking music should pick this up.

This album is outstanding just as I predicted it to be, my favourite track is definately The Anhtkythera Mechanism, just...so much emotion in that track, especially the first 6 minutes.

I know the more I listen to this the more I'm going to appreciate it, I can tell how much loev and effort has been put into this cd.

Well done BT.

Only time to listen to the first 2 tracks so far, but OMFG. Song #2 is the best song ive heard in a long time. Oh, and should I watch the DVD or the CD first???

Getting this album tomorrow. Can't wait to hear it (besides the samples i've heard) and watch the videos...glad BT is back to making non-pop orientated electronic music, and good it's something other than dance music, because electronic music is much more than just EDM.

Also, if you guys really like this CD you should really check out Jon Hopkins too. Some of the best ambient breaks around. http://www.jonhopkins.co.uk/
