| there just isnt enough research on the drug to show what its negative effects are in the long term. of course its dangerous if you abuse it, almost any drug is, but from what research we have available, E usage is shown to be generally safe if you're educated and know whats in your pill and what substances are bad to mix it with. |

MDMA may be safe, but the crap thats cut in with them sometimes isn't.
Unless you test you just don't know what you're taking. |

i read that thing. for some reason though, i never get the depressing 2 or 3 days afterwards. i always feel great the next day, although i usually take a few months break between each time dropping. i have done liek 10 in one month before but still didnt have any depression problems. that article looks like bull to me, and stuff like that has been written before. |
Indeed. Almost any drug that gives you a good mood lift seems to have possible depression as one of its negative comedown/after effects but it seems much more common in people who already have pre-existing problems with depression. |

yeah, ecstasy is perfectly safe. the same way cigarettes are safe. if you kids wanna lie to yourselves, go right ahead. but , there is already plenty of documentation showing how MDMA ruins your serotonin production/dissemination ability, and heavy longterm users can end up with none at all.
party safe but dont think anything like ecstasy comes without a cost. |

All boils down to an individual's neurological make-up, much like how some people can drink a whole bottle of vodka and still be functioning, when 4 pints of beer make me drunk :D
Over the 9 years of use I endured, I never once had a come-down, even when I was caining ridiculous amounts in 2001.
I have been very lucky, and have quit whilst I am ahead, but then I am a naturally happy and extroverted person.
I've seen people who are usually very introverted try it, love it, both for how it makes them feel and for helping disspell their introvert tendencies, but then crash hard afterwards as they become even more removed and unhappy.
Also, the true risks will only become apparent when our generation hit's their late 30s/early 40s |

Most overrated.
Expensive.
Short lived.
The actual effect is a combination of verbal diarrhea, possible arrogance, and, predominantly, the want of more coke :stongue:
Little bit here and there is fine, especially if it is free, but the actually cost/experience ratio is very very poor. |
