What do we all think of it?
Its better than it was, anyway. Search seems to be a lot better and the layout is a bit better, but thats about all Ive noticed.
Still the same general flash interface though. :(
Its marked Beta though, great job on asking people to give their credit card info over an unproven, Beta site though.
Thoughts? |

I'm a daily user over there - it looks better than it did, and i'm curious to see how you can set up the 'my labels' and stuff - i didn't notice all that on the old version.
Still unfortunately flash though. It would have been nice as a regular user to get some wind of these changes, as you say - BETA site + stored CC info... :confused: |

It's okay. I was so used to the old layout, the new one is similar yet different. But I would like to see the whole design of the site revamped. I think they should do a design similar to AudioJelly. I am not going to buy anything until they have all of their bugs worked out, because I agree, doesn't seem safe on a beta site. |

While i wouldn't mind Beatport being a website not a flashscreen... i just can't handle the annoyance of searching for something on audiojelly.

Hmm thats strange. Usually prices for Ireland increase the same as the UK, but mine havent changed (unless my IP is playing games).
What releases have gone up and how much are they now? |

my biggest complaint so far... you no longer see how long tracks are. :mad:
other than that, i think the update is pretty cool. they added a lot of nice features which make it easier to browse and more user-friendly. i especially like the fact that you can change the results per page between 15/30/45, and the My Artists/My Labels/My Genres feature is sweet too.
the site seems to be running a little faster, although i keep having to click the Play button even after i load a new sample to listen to... sometimes they won't play automatically like they did before. |

heh actually I find the opposite. It takes far longer to load for me :( |
