actually, crimes in nyc are at an all time low.. we havent been the murder capital in a long time. late 70s and early 80s is the crazy era where coming to nyc werent too much fun. thats where we made a rep that nyc is tuff and dangerous and all that , it stemmed from then. since the 90s, crimes dramatically dropped. most of porn shops in times sq. closed down, and overall the city has gotten cleaner. dont get me wrong tho, we'll still you up real quick when ed with..lol

I'd agree with that statement completely.

Chicago Pizza = Balls. Gross Balls.

But, Chicagoans > New Yorkers.

lol just remember like Tek said - NYCer's hit back =) we just don't like being slept on thats all...so admist all of the talk about how nyc is tough and all - we like to remain docile until we're provoked then i think the statement holds true - becareful what you ask for - if you mess around with nyc kids lol.

and yea the sarcasm runs fairly thick in our neck of the "woods" or bricks for that matter.

And yes Rob and Myra are welcome here in nyc...live the saying "protect ya neck" and you'll be alright

I don't know man - as Myra knows all too well, my experiences in NYC have been anything less than "docile." New Yorkers just have seemed to me to be all too into "their" city, and any outsiders seem to be incredibly unwelcomed. I can understand frustration with random yokels from the Midwest coming out who need to go to Times Square, check out "ground zero," and go to TRL, but s sake, the idea of "common courtesy" seems to be lost on New Yorkers in a way I have never seen in any other big city in my life, and I'd like to consider myself moderately well travelled.
