I'm going to give you a little guide to 2 of the NYC boroughs

The Bronx- Make sure to visit Little Italy (Arthur avenue) the people are great and they have the best food imports from Europe. While you're down there, go to Lydig avenue (next to the white plains road shopping center) and have some John & Joe's pizza, it's one of the best pizzerias in NY hands down.

Now for the clubbing scene. If you're into EDM, make sure to check out Crobar, one of the finest clubs in NYC. During the day, you should visit the lower east side of Manhattan (The Village) and also check out the infamous Times Square (West side) especially seventh avenue and 6th avenue between 34th street 47th street. Great shopping centres and you'll more than likely run into some original character, trust me on this ;)

I hope you have a good time, and if you decide to visit the bronx, make sure you don't try anything stupid with the Italians, Albanians, Puerto Ricans and pretty much anyone else who does not look like they belong in Mr. Roger's neighborhood. Have a good time bro and one last thing, DO NOT rent a Hotel room in Manhattan unless you're willing to shell out a lot of money.

that's a stretch..its a typical large club like pacha/avalon...there are more unique (albeit smaller) places like love, cielo, element..

my advice for a first time visit...stay in manhattan, there's plenty to see there without wanderin into the boroughs and potentially gettin lost...u can get all sorts of good ethnic food, all within a walk or a few subway stops...ull easily pass time and have fun just wanderin around soho/tribeca

*edit -and like kid nyce said, dont crowd the sidewalks gawking at buildings..oh and save ur change and ignore the panhandlers, there are too many of em :haha:

dont visit the statue of liberty- that s boring!

I've been to Element and a few other clubs smaller clubs out there, I know the point you're tying to make. The reason I recomended Crobar was because he's obviously a tourist and b/c of the big name Dj's that play there and they have the best local (EDM) Djs IMO. Plus wandering around the wrong part of The Bronx, Queens or Brooklyn and getting lost can esily end up a bad situation for a tourist. :haha:

Dj Tek, I'm listenign to your set from 2004 live at Seho..I like your style. mixing EDM and hip hop with that Dj Kay Slay subliminal message in there was a good idea for the mix.

It's all about being spontaneous at times, you gotta surprise the crowd. I can't stand predictable Djs, I'm moving back to NY in about 9 months, I'll be sure to check you out when I move there. Hit me up on the PM whenever you have time.
