I lost my wallet :(

Wallet loss = teh suck.
It had 35 reais inside (think of that as 30 dollars or something, as things are cheaper here), a one-thousand-Lira bill, some documents and a Pokémon card my brother gave me when he was 12 (wha? it had emotional value to me :D).
I'm lucky though. It happened now that I'm on vacation, so it's easier for me to do all the necessary procedures :) |

Once at a club, I lost my wallet. I then went to the bar all worried and asked for a beer. I was going to pay for it with change I had in my pocket. A scottish woman, way older, asked me what was wrong: I told her I'd lost my wallet, and she paid for both her drink and mine, then started ignorning me.
So then I went outside to sit where I was sitting with my friends and found my wallet. |

In Munich City, once my wallet was stolen from me while entering the underground. Weeks later, when I had already applied for another id and license, it was found by some train personnel way outside Munich near the tracks. Lucky me, the thief only had taken all money away and left anything else inside.
So I went and paid a reasonable reward to the honest guy who returned the wallet to the police. It felt like x-mas to me ... |

My dad had the genius idea of leaving his wallet in his car while he's at work for the last two years. Lo and behold, it was stolen in May. The people at our bank prevented anything from happening, because the thief tried to get into our bank account using my dad's ID; the thief was an idiot because he had a full head of hair, and my dad is bald, so when they checked the ID they nailed him, the bank kept the ID, but he got away with everything else.
We had to cancel everything because of the amount of crap my dad left in the wallet. We even had a couple of check problems at every grocery store we shop at, because the store hadn't cashed them before we cancelled the checking accounts, so they wouldn't let us even pay in cash at the store for about two weeks.

yeah, i'm super paranoid about losing my wallet. i try to keep it in teh same place all the time (a pocket in my backpack) and i start to panic if i can't find it right away.
you should get one of those chain wallets :D |

I lost a bank card holder last year with my visa and my social security card and 40 euros in it ...
The cops had my cards a couple days later but no money :(
I say the cops took them cash! :whip: |
