I think there were more than 800 in the place tbh and there were a good number of people drinking at about $6/drink so I am sure they made some money. :)

Well how would you feel if tiesto's charming personality asked you to get naked for a pic with him, or better yet ... asked you to "show me your and suck my cock" which was the case this Sunday ??? lol how's that for personality?? would you expect that from Tiesto? the ambasador for HIV awarness??

ok, honestly.. if he said that, nothing you can do about it. We get it! You don't like Tiesto.. no point in bringing up the same point over and over in this thread. People are either gonna like him or hate him, it happends.. sorry, time to move on. |

i don't know you from a hole in the ground. how am i supposed to believe anything you say? especially something like that.
my comment had nothing to do with tiesto specifically, why did you quote me? it just seems petty to latch onto the first post you see and answer to it in the fashion that you did.
if the stuff that you say is true, i doubt you would be posting that all over, your friends would be going to the police and filing a report of sexual harassment. |

The staff there is TOP KNOTCH some of the nicest bouncers and bar tenders I have ever encountered, the line up was smooth and MASSIVE credit to the club for not over packing the place, there was actually room to dance! That said Dragonfly isn't so much a club as it is a bar...it is rather small, only holds 600 people...it is really nice inside but only one level so that means the dj booth is not raised and unless you are standing 2 feet from it you are not seeing the dj...also the bathrooms are right beside the the booth, going to the washroom was a NIGHTMARE...also VERY bad VIP area, you can't see anything from there...
on to the music...Mark Oliver was his usually self..from 10 to 12 he was awesome, really ripping it up with some big anthems...from 12 to 1 he slowed things down and was blah in my opinion (ahhh the joys of a opening set) at 1am Tiesto came on the club decided to crank up the speakers to a point that was UNBERABLE...ugh. my ears still hurt.... that said Tiesto was not his usual smiling self but boy did he rip it up..one bomb after another...back to back he dropped Pete Heler - Simpler with Lethal Industry... really good times. and finally..the crowd, I think I am just completely defeated when it comes to these yahoo's that show up at these things, my g'f had her hass grabbed like 10 times, the pushing...the shoving... the 60 year old cracked out Asians...it all just makes for a unpleasant experience. |

Well, first of all i'm sorry if you felt offended by me quoting you. Second of all, you and the rest can believe whatever you like, and if to you it makes more sense that i'd be wasting my time comming up with lies and fake stories about Tiesto ... than you are right, you clearly don't know me. If you read my previous post, Review for Tiesto at the Docks & even the Roll call for Tiesto @ Dragonfly you'd see that i didn't have anything against the guy, and i can't say i do now, but for me, the Tiesto days are over. He's lacking the enthusiasm, the originality, the personality he once had back in the days, but most of all, his shows lack that passion and flow that you would expect from world's #1 Dj. Had a good time @ the Docks and surprised by his set, i admit, as i did on the Review Thread for that night, but that was it. Sunday night he was trashed, pissed drunk ... is that the respect you pay to the people who drove for hours to see you? The guy didn't look like he wanted to be there for 1 minute in that night ... Neway, i'm not trying to convince anyone into not liking Tiesto because i simply don't care, if you like his sets and think he's the , thats cool :) I once used to think that too :P but decided not to pay 60$ for the TIESTO tag & for below average song selections.
