Anti-Maple Leaf thread

I don't know what it is, but ever since I can remember being a hockey fan, I've hated the Maple Leafs.
It probably has something to do with this Western alienation BS that I've been brainwashed with.
When we lost Cujo to Toronto, that really hurt. That's why I was glad that he got demoted in the olympics.
I've hated Sundin ever since he left the Nordiques. Partly because he wasn't realizing his potential. Now that he is, I hate him even more.
I absolutely despise Shayne Corson for his useless years here in Edmonton.
I think Gary Roberts is way overrated.
Why does every team want to trade for Kaberle it seems? What the hell has he done?
Tie Domi is the worst waste of a roster spot in the NHL
It makes me even more angry to see them actually winning.
Since it is a bit late to hope that they miss the playoffs, one thing is for sure, I will be cheering for whoever they play in the first round. |

| Put me down as a Maple Leafs hater too!! I think if you live in Western Canada, you gotta hate them. Too much media exposure for such a ty team haha. Personally, I'm an Avs fan but I'll pretty much cheer for anyone over the Leafs haha! |

| I find it difficult to have one single favorite team. I usually follow my favorite players. A lot of them happen to be on the Avs. When it comes to hockey I am, first and formost, a Joe Sakic fan. |

| I hate the Leafs with a passion, same with Oilers. The Leafs are always televised on Hockey Night in Canada, it truly pisses me off :mad: |

| Wow, great to see so much support for the Avs and so much hatred for the Leafs haha. Personally, my support is all due to Patrick Roy. I was the biggest Canadiens fan until they traded him to the Avs and then I automatically became an Avs fan but always loved Sakic & Forsberg. Too bad he's hurt this year. |

The Red Wings beat everybody though... but let's not forget... Toronto HAS beaten Detroit this season.
Oh yeah, i think all you westerners in Canada.. have a huge problem with the leafs, cause none of your teams are as good as the Leafs. lol   |
