| I just need some general feedback on whether or not people would make the trip to Kingston to see a big name for a charity event. Montrealers this is for you too!! |

How big is this 'big name'?
IIRC there isn't much of a scene in Kingston, and how many people would actually make the drive from Toronto or Mtl this late in the summer? |

| The plan was to get an AIDS event going and attract a mixed crowd from Toronto, montreal and rural ontario aswell. By 'big name' i mean the biggest names that we can get. You're right the scene in kingston is dominated by the Queen's students (i am one of them) but there is a VERY high rate of new appreciators and i want to capatalize on this. |

I do have quite a few connection in Toronto and Montreal. Some people that i do events with know Tiga, for example.
Toss me some suggestions on how big and how many artists i would need and cost to attend also. That would be much appreciated guys and gals. |

| I'd go for the right big name. I love making a roadtrip out of events. |

| Don't think Tiga is a big enough name... I think you'd have to organize the event and then hope people come. |
