totally. i was shocked myself when i saw him reaching into the glove box.

WTF sil... i couldnt belive it... id have had TWO on my person if such a situation had come up. sil was definitely concerned and paranoid too... its not like he wasnt taking the threat seriously.

but then again, little things, slip ups, absences of thought over a particularly key issue, do happen all the time. in that sense, its pretty life-like...

hard to say which it was, a good portrayal of reality, or a writer's oversight for that character.

Just finished watching "The Second Coming" the second time and followed it with "The Blue Comet"

*WOW*

Too much to discuss in a post but I'll try to summarize how I feel about this series.

I have been watching religiously since 2002. Have watched every season several times.

Though the series has taken several winding roads throughout the year, I do believe that as a whole this series has elevated television drama to a level not yet seen until this decade.

IMO....

The most accurate portrayal/depiction of many aspects of modern family life.

I am not Italian, nor do I fantasize about the glorified mafia lifestyle. Those two point aside I have never related so well to characters in a television drama.

Every character reminds me very convincingly of someone that I know.

I (I'm whoring this series out I know) genuinly care about what happens to each of the characters and have watched them develop with child like anticipation.

The series is so deep, it goes WAY BEYOND every other mob story EVER. I don't even think the show is about the mafia, that is just the backdrop. The comments made on family and social life are so layered that I have to watch several times to catch them.

I am both excited and saddened that the series is coming to what seems an incredibly dramatic conclusion.

This Sunday, I am visiting with fellow Soprano enthusiast for the final episode, some chicken parmigian, some stogis, and maybe some cannolli ;)

I just felt the need toast the end of what will be for me, one of the greatest achievments in modern storytelling on television.

SALUT!!!!!!!!

Unibrow is CHRISTOPHER MOLTISANTI.

I'd suggest to wait (if you can) and purchase the box set of all the seasons that I'm sure is coming out this year.

The DVD's are LOADED with interesting facts about the actors.
IE. PAULIE WALNUTS Played By Tony Sirico apparantly was a mobster decades ago, became an actor after a 'stint in the can'. He's not acting...he really talks like that heh heh heh LOL

I also thought that the director's commentaries really helped to understand the depth of the series.

Several episodes had 'guest directors', usually cast memebers.

so many retarded soporanos tidbits man, my favourite being Silvio's (Steve Van Zandt's) E-Street band background, like wtf... another great one is Vito's Wife is Dr. Melfi's sister in real life.

The Goodfellas casting job is also pretty hilarious lol I catch really random all the time, today I noticed AJ buying Carmella "the Matrix" for her birthday, while Ralph (Joe Pantoliano) plays Cypher is in the movie. lol

Touche!!!

I still remember the first time I noticed Doctor Melphi in Goodfellas !!!!! WHATT!!!!!!!

I've seen SEVERAL cast memebers in Law & Order AND the GODFATHER Trilogy. Once you see it, you realize the casting in Sopranoes is FLAWLESS!!!, they all have mafioso acting backrounds.

If you didn't hear... in early 2000
Robert Iler (AJ) got charged with strongarming a classmate for drugs LOL!!!!!

The more you pay attention, the more you see...
HOW DEEP THE RABBIT HOLE REALLY IS!!!! LOL

infinity HiGH
lol you guys are jokes.

I think one reason why I never bought into the hype of this show is the characters. After reading some of the latest posts I realized that with the exception of maybe 3 characters in the whole show, I could care less about everyone else.

I loved Steve Buscemi's character though, Tony Blundetto if my memory serves me right. That season was definitely one of the better ones imo.
