I, unfortunately, am one of those people that would come out in a rash if I put anything fake near me, I have a psycho-sematic allergy that probably costs me 15k a year.

I am not averse to cheap stuff, I like it actually, I just can't do fake.

+ 1 Not a fan of fakes either (and tbh $50 is way too bloody much for a fake lol). I'd rather fork out more for the real thing, which like you, costs me an arm and a leg every year. Argh! :whip:

would u honestly pay $300 for it?

Ahhh the debate of Real vs. Fake.

400$ pouch vs. 50$ pouch, ( or anything for that matter ).

I think money (expensive things) makes people feel better. You'd rather spend hundreds more on a product for what, the brand name right? Or maybe the feeling that you know you can spend so much on something.

I've witnessed when someone has spent alot on something, and then couldn't pay thier phone bill next month, I just laughed. Stupidity.

I have to admit, most things I buy the real things, but for somethings, I don't mind buying fake, who cares really?

Honestly? I would find the real thing at a cheaper price. I don't know where you saw it going for $300 but there are ways and means to get those things for much much cheaper :D

Yes, those people are stupid. But when you still have money left over for whatever it is you need to pay, then why the hell not? :toothless

I completely agree, hence the kind of *embarrassed* tone of my reply. That's the point with me, I work really hard for my money and lucky for me, I get remunerated to match so I feel I can treat myself (who else will, right?) but there is a definite guilt attached to it. I was called materialistic once, many moons ago, and I guess it has stuck. I don't see it as materialistic though as it is not a prerequisite for friends of mine to have the same 'addiction', just me, wanting to buy nice things for myself, when I have worked hard.

(And no, I have never gone into debt for any of my shopaholic tendencies)

don't remember to be honest :)

the cheapest real one I've seen was on ebay for 180-190 which is still too much for a non-leather material bag

anyhow, I bought mine for sole purpose of hard-core clubbing and 90% of the time I dont have pockets on my clubbing clothes.. I have spilt numerour drinks on the poor thing, it still looks brand new :) I guess it's a damn good fake then lol!

Your case is different to a certain extent. YOU made your hardearned money, YOU'RE just buying things for yoruself for " appreciation " to yoruself. But there are some people who buy extremly expensive things to show off and prove to others " Look at what I can buy, nanner nanner poo poo ". I hate those types of people. lol
