funny but i everytime i hear about avalon i just get so sad.. a rip limelight :(
i really have come to the conclusion that nyc just sucks ass for clubbing in general.. i give up with this city, it's such a ing killjoy. |

| its such a sad state that Avalon is in.... the managers dont care ne more.... they cant even be taken seriously ne more, thats what its come down to.... we tried to propose a party that we could pay minimal for the venue for, where the Avalon management would be making most of the profit, wed be making our money back and a small profit.... they were having none of it.... they wanted the full 10-15Gs to run the night.... they just dont care.... we proposed to bring the DJs in, all they had to do was give us the venue, something that Avalon SHOULD take advantage of, considering the lack of ANYTHING there.... but no.... i seriously think theres no1 left that works there.... every1 i knew that worked there moved to Pacha (look how bad thats doing now too, wow).... it must be a ghost town in the offices, and its such a shame, because it soooo has the potential to be neck and neck with Crobar, but the management seriously just DOESNT care, they put no effort, have no hope, give no damn. |

| can we all stop complaining about how bad we have it??? its better then alot of places, we always get great DJ's coming to play for us on a weekly basis, so even though some venues might be going to or already have lets just make the best of it cause that's all we can really do |

| I will always love Avalon as a venue, but I have given up hope with the idea that it will ever be run properly. They still owe me money from the night we had Max Graham there, although I have written off any hope of ever getting it. The place is a disaster. |

damn this is crazy that they do this stuff to EVERYone..
I asked Eco once if he ever got paid for his gigs, cuz i spun at avalon before it completely went down the tubes, but didn't get paid either. I'm glad John is doing a lawsuit against them, they deserve that ...
I've promoted with john for a few years back and know him pretty well.. for him to start flaming on a club after all the bs he's already been through with other clubs, says alot. It's just a shame that Avalon has to turn out this way =/ |
