I just told these people in my retirement home - I think one of them literally there pants - it smells like poo:( <---just thoguht this thread needed a *giggle* ;)

yes, I know. I guess it just hits you harder when it is so close to home, and especially when you know people who were at the scene. And I still can't get a hold of one of my friends who was there! :( |

More school shootings = :( .... those students, I'd imagine, will be quite traumatized for a long while, not to mention the pain and fear of the victims (and their respective families and friends) who are fighting for their lives.
[Unfortunately this will undoubtedly lead to a wave of media coverage arguing for the claims that youths are more violent today than ever before and that youth violence is spiraling out of control which only serves to further misinform the general public.]
Peoples' lives can change in a single second and today is an example of this sad fact :( |
