| everyone is attacking me like im a conspircaist or something lol. My view on this whole issue is this, not one of us will ever no the truth about anything. We're lied to everyday by the media, to the point that its impossible to tell whats truth and whats fiction anymore. Do i believe it was a controlled demolition?! its a cool story, but no i personally dont think it was planned. Do i think the government maybe had something to do with it?! its a possibility. All i know is one thing, without a terrorist attack George Bush wouldnt have been able to go to war. And i also know one more thing, I know people. I know the george bush type of character and that type of character is very ignorant, spoiled and has 0 morals when it comes to another dollar in their pocket, i know plenty of those types of people. Thats the only thing i can add to this convo because i have absolutely no degrees in anything.I study residential construction and its whole different field. All i was simply doing was adding the fact that none of us know jack in th area of structural engineering so its a stupid argument, and its even dumber to throw facts at one another that we have no clue how they came about. |

i would also like to add that if it seems like posts lare hard to read because of its grammar , well then good, i aint got time to give a abt my spelling or my punctuation.

technically speaking im not a sturctural engineer (well i will be legally in 6 months) but as i have completed all my materials and structural design courses in steel and concrete, i feel i can bring a bit of expertise to the table.
point to be made = anyone who thinks the WTC towers collapse was a controlled demolition using RDX, or thermite or any other host of explosive theories have now had their right to rational thought revoked.... you are clearly retarded.
im not going to get into a detailed analysis of the structural failure, and yes i have sat through many lectures on the topic as three of my proffs were on the design team for the building. Stop trying to compare the failure mode of the WTC towers to any other building that has caught fire or been hit with a plane. no two buildings are alike (unless its a home depot cause they are pretty cookie cutter, infact i belive they only need to hire the services of a geotechnical engineer to design the foundation as they never change the design of the main structure from store to store). while some buildings share common construction practices, they all use different sized members in different places, in the case of concrete buildings, the steel rebar is never A in the spot it was designed to be in, B the same size and location as a different concrete building. and lets not forget the main fact taht steel looses 2/3 rds of its strength at about 800 degrees celcius
i could show you pictures of buildings that would make you yourself if you knew how they were actually built.... |
