Gee, Greg, Engish is not my first language. Sorry if I don't put my sentences together the way I should. |
No no no, your grammar is perfect.
Its the tone. I know we can't exactly hear you talk, but the way you have put these thoughts and ideas together leaves no room for discussion. You write up a super perfect list of how you exactly want it and how you think it should be, then at the bottom, oh btw, my opinion. |

When I stop deleting, no one notices.
I guess you chose not to read that. |

yeah actually i think that has a lot to do with echo's post deleting...at least from talking to her...she worries sometimes that in translation her posts might not be coming off the way she wants or could be misunderstood...

huh?
I asked questions.
I'm asking what people would do if they were mods.
I put in things that I'm especially sensitive too because they're easy to relate to...for me and for those that know me. |

well yes I did read that.
It sounds like you are trying to justify your constant deletion habit as it is part of your personality and is also the way other people perceive you hence we should consider it normal for you to do so? :conf: !
A normal behavior, at least on this forum does not involve deleting your own threads whenever the train of thought does not follow your intended plans. |

But you aren't making any sense as to why you are asking these questions. Many board run the system just like we do now. Mainly for archival purposes. Has a mod done something you didn't like or are you just complaining to complain? It seems like you want your deletion habits to be discussed to death... Unless a mod had a REALLY good reason, we wouldnt ressurent posts and threads i mean who wants to wade through the trash? |

Ladies and gentleman we have a winner. That's the way I should've stated it jdat, well thought out remark there. No one is complaining about your grammar, even if English isn't your first language. You simply deleted all your threads because you were being a spoiled little brat and when other TAs disagreed with you on your own thread, you simply thought that deleting it was the way to go.
I've been wrong more than probably anyone on TA, but you seem to have a problem admitting that you were wrong in doing so and NO there is no Justification for your actions. |

Hello?
I'm not complaining.
Where are you coming from?
I am asking people questions. IF you (general you) were a mod how would you react or respond or conduct yourself.
lol, and we wonder why I delete threads.
Have at it. I'm done with this. |

technically a forum and its team of moderators and especially its administrators have the right and the ability to do all those things you worry about (other than the thing about pictures, under specific circumstances).
ethically you shouldn't delete anything whatsoever, and moderators/administrators have a moral obligation to make sure all threads are present and accounted for. also publicizing privacy is the 'right' thing to do.
this is all in absolute morality though.
i doubt this is what you had in mind. |

I did not delete all of my threads.
The biggest thread on TA has not been deleted. I delete frivilous threads. Threads that are silly, that mean nothing.
Jeez. Us. It's a personal problem. I am working on it. I have worked on it. I have never deleted a thread where people disagree with me. The threads I delete are the frivilous ones. The threads that are silly.
Good grief... |
