Holy , I just tried some and boy does it taste ing awful. I thought it would taste good after I started drinking Heineken (which tastes like soda).
, this leaves HORRIBLE aftertaste in my mouth. I'm struggling to finish this bottle. Why does it taste so bad?! |

lol, I'm not even supposed to be enjoying alchohol @ my age. But it's no biggie to my parents if I take a few beers every now and then. Maybe I'm just not too used to it.
Heineken was *good* but this is very, very bad.
edit: Just chugged down this awful concoction as fast as I could. Doesn't feel too good. |

Before I go off to bed:
Is it normal for me to find hard liquor more attractive than beer? I like some beers, but I just feel that liquor tastes GREAT. I salivate at the thought of drinking some liquor.
I like how you drink it and hits you HARD (and tastes soooooo strong), then warms up your chest, and afterwards you get that sweet, natural (minty?) aftertaste. Like you were eating some kind of fruit or something... I can't descrive the taste fully... but it's leafy
Beer does not do that. I love how liquor has all those stages and flavors.
*P.S: Drinking champagne makes my tingle. No joke. It's weird. :wtf: |

well there are 2 kinds o guiness that you can get, one you can drink out of the bottle, and the other you have to immediately pour it all into a glass. Look around on the bottle/can for directions on how to drink properly.
:wtf: |

Firstly if a beer tasted like soda it's a crap beer. Beer is not a ing girly cocktail - beer is supposed to taste like beer.
Secondly there are genres within beer. Heineken is a pale lager, Guinness is a dry stout ale. You can't expect the same characteristics from the two beers. They're practically different beverages. Some would say beer is an acquired taste, I think this is especially true for stouts. You should take your time and taste a few to educate your palate to appreciate a stout. |

Although I'm drinking Heineken right now (and enjoying it), that was a ing great post Astroboy. It took me a very long time to appreciate ales and stouts (till I was 24 I think) but it's well worth working towards.
Akridrot, try drinking ales/stouts with a proper food accompaniment, and you will get used to the flavours. DO IT! :p |
