i gotta say 1015 was packed. pvd was incredible. i've never seen such a atmosphere like Saturday night. i missed out about 30-45 mins of his set due to waiting in line to get in. by the time i got in it was close 1. i put that last hour before they close the bar down to drink as much as i can. i was feeling good after 2am.
this was my first time at 1015 and it was a good and bad experience. i got lost a couple of time trying to find the vip booth and to the front entrance. I ain't trying to hate or anything but there were alot of asian up in there. most of them were rude. 1015 is a cool place to party but some ppl just spoils the night for me. |

Not to sound snobbish, but I wouldn't worry about putting a copyright tag on my pictures unless they looked like this:

I don't see what's the big deal about it being on there. They are my pics. I am no pro at this stuff. I have never said I have. I need a lot more practice. I don't get nearly as much as I should. I just do it for fun. I enjoy it.
And BTW, I WOULD LOVE a fish-eye lens like the one used for those pics. Whenever I can afford another lens, it's going to be a kick ass one like that. I want that and an infrared transmitter so I can place my flash in a different position away from the camera. And I don't want to have to deal with a cable.
The pics aren't that sharp because I couldn't use a flash. So I had to raise the ISO, slow my shutter speed down, usually around 1/30th, and set it the aperture. f/2.8 (which kills the focal length). But even on good nights, my photography is all over the place. I will admit that.
Anyhow, back to the copyright. Don't like it? Too ing bad. |

I haven’t been to a PVD event at 1015 for a couple of years. The crowd and people that night really made it special, lighting, mood, etc. Everything was set for Saturday. From what I can tell from some of the footage Artimus took, they shut down some of the rooms and played Paul’s music throughout the speakers... Reminded me very much of when they did the same thing, many years ago for Paul Oakenfold. Good times, great people.
Seein Jerry again was also cool. Ill always have love for Jerry, I still have his white label he gave me a long time ago. I don’t recall the record right now, but it’s the one with the hand on it. He’s always been an influence to me as a Dj.
I didn’t go anywhere much, stuck in the booth for most of the night shooting video and photos for my upcoming website. Aside from the couple behind us that barfed in the booth, I had an excellent time.
Dude, if you are gonna hurl, find a trashcan or something. That was just Frickin sick. And the fact that you didn’t even clean it up or notify anyone really bothers me. Having people slip on your vomit is not cool.
I too shot some video, so ill be posting them here along side some of the photos Artimus took. I did something weird with my camera that night, the footage for For an Angel that I took, and some other video I shot was done in Sepia. I did something to my camera and it slowed everything down. After watching it back, I thought it was pretty cool, so I kept shooting in Sepia. Lol. I'm going to have to remember to bring more memory later.
O, of the phoand guys the guy with the Orange hat is my partner in crime, Artimus. He’s a big white guy, and was filming most of the night. It’s funny because when you look at some tos, he’s a little taller.
It was also nice kickin it with you again Dave, as it has been a while since we shared space behind in that mainroom booth in some time! Can you please post the photos the 2 you took of me? I gotta get both you and Jarreds footage!
Ill add the video I shot and some photos later, when I figure out where Ima host em and stuff.

This weekend is gonna be nuts, so Ill see all of ya out there on Sat. Ill be somewhere kicking things off with Lee, off to 1015 for John Beaver's set, then the after party at the Bill Grahm. |
