I thought overall PvD was very, very good. I imagine his set here was better than his LA set. From midnight to about 1:20 it was just awesome, then it went into a lull for about 20 minutes and then he got it going again from about 1:40-2:40 and then for awhile just seemed to be a bit all over the place. You'd think he was about to kick it up a notch and bring back the huge energy but would go in a different direction. Then he started playing some tracks with big breakdowns that just seemed out of place in the set. Then at about 3:25 he really cranked it up again and got it going and finished off awesomely playing until about 4:10am.
That is exactly what I thought. Good review and thanks paul for such an amazing night.

I was very impressed by PVD's set. He dropped some awesome tracks that really got the crowd pumped. I think I liked this set better than the set he played in May at 4th & B, although he didn't play Dogzilla this time :(. Is it always so hot at 1015 though? This was the first time Ive seen a show there and it was hotter than a mothaphucka. I guess the fact that it was more packed than cheeseburgers in Marlon Brando (post Street Car named desire).
