Nick Pilon is, as far as I know, is the most active trance producer/dj in montreal, he's got a residency at aria and posts on this forum. Dj Charlie also does trance, and will be playing with Nick shortly at aria

Seriously, Nick is the best local I have heard in a long long time, in any genre. Maybe he can send you a set or something.

If you like harder trance (faster) try Eddie Halliwell's sets. He is pretty tight. He doesn't yet produce though.

Also, check out Sander Van Doorn. He is amazing and produces/spins many different types of trance as well as other genres. He definately is the next superstar IMO.

Again, check out the homepages of these guys on MYSPACE. It rocks!

Nope. In any genre. But I like trance and am bored to death of all the DJ's out there that sound the same. It was refreshing.

If you don't like trance, you won't agree with this.
Dj Nacht
You have vocal samples done? Could you maybe upload one? I could maybe point you in the right direction if I heard your voice.

PS Talk To Preach Hes looking for a vocalist.

I've only heard him spin trance....but I'm sure he is very good in other genres.

....since trance is easiest ;)

Why does everybody say that? I find low tempos easier to mix. Maybe it's just me.

On the contrary, they tend to clash if you don't calculate it precisely. House and tech on the other hand is designed to be messed around with, so it's much easier to mix parts together.

LOL!

Actually, I was only refering to his trance mixing, I have heard only this from him as well.

I just meant that he impressed me more than any other local that I have heard in a long, long time.

(this was my virginal Pilon experience! :D )

FYI: Max Graham was looking for a vocalist as well. You can find out the details on his Myspace area.

Trance is the easiest produce lol , Ill make a trance song in 15 minutes. It will sound like complete though. All the VST's come with cheesy trance presets its so easy.
