The person I trust completely and can confide in about anything is my ex-boyfriend. It's weird being that he's my ex boyfriend but I've just been telling him EVERYTHING that's been going on with me since we got together and I'd feel weird now not being able to talk to him or get his opinion on my life just because we broke up. Besides, the break up wasn't bad :)

Other than that I trust my parents and 2 friends back in Amsterdam.

I tend to trust people too easily. I mean, I don't go about giving them information that could seriously cause damage but I do tell people all about things way too quickly. But I think in my world, it's a way to seed out the worthless people quite early on.

so you're one of those "guilty until proven innocent" types? :p

i'm with jenny....everyone has a clean slate with me, and if i get burned, i don't make the next innocent person pay. life's too short. move on.

even if someone betrayed my trust, i would forgive them probably (obviouly if it's petty, and most of it is to me), but i would just make a mental note to take caution with that person in the future.

No not at all, I just simply won't trust a stranger with something that I consider valuable to me. Maybe I'm misinterpretting what's being said here, granted I don't hold anything over anyones head if I just first met them, but I wouldn't necessarily say here hold my wallet until tomorrow to some dude I just met.

I think I've had my fair share of betrayed trust incidents, I've been cheated on before as well, so in the relationship trust sense, it takes a bit of time for me to see that a relationship is even going anywhere.

just trust your own judgement to trust others.. so basically it all just comes down to yourself..:p

i guess there are too many forms of trust to be vague here.

would i trust somebody i just met with my bank account info? obviously not. i just mean trust, as in like giving people the benefit of the doubt when you meet them. assuming they are good people until they give you reason not to believe that any more.

that's not what i meant when i started the thread, but we kinda trailed off about a different kind of trust.

when i started the thread, i just meant like who do u trust with all your secrets? who can u go to at the end of the day and just spill the beans to, and you know they won't ever judge you or betray you and will always give you honest and helpful advice? who would you trust with your atm card to run up and take out money for you with your pin number? who would u trust your home with and pets if u asked them to dog/house sit for you? that sort of stuff.

I trust maybe, 5 of my friends.

And that goes with money, secrets, etc.

I am anal about my pin number. When I was with my ex, he found out my pin number, and I changed it. I wont tell ANYONE my pin, or passwords.

I TRUST MY PENIS TOO.

I trust my mother and my friend stanley with my life. I trust a few other people as well, but not nearly as much as those two.
Ian
my best friends, Emma & Lisa. I'd trust either of them with my life.

Amber (trancebrat) & Terry Bones. they've earned it through a solid friendship & always having the right words when I need them.

Jamey. She's unique.

and from here, LeeAnn (Angelblue), Jay ([N]uk|eu[Z]) and spad (oldskool ukta)

Ian
i might be the only one, but i dont trust my parents. My mum has a big mouth & is prone to gossiping to her mates, many times i've called into her work to pick some mail up (she works about 100 yds from the pickup place) and the bitch i hate on reception shouts something out which I wanted kept quiet, medically, personally etc. I love my nana, but i couldn't tell her anything, she has a very old fashioned view on life, and is beginning to go senile, i'd rather she didnt know things, to keep her faith in me as she has noone else, and my dad is just my dad, he's not done much for me as a father, so im not 'that' close to him, although since my parents split we've got closer, its easier not living with him

No need to repeat it, but since there are different levels of trust, I think that at the moment, I have nobody to trust with my darkest and deepest secrets. I used to trust on a couple of friends, but they recently (3 months ago) left the country to get a masters degree and we now talk from time to time but it's not the same anymore.

And Ian, perhaps it's just a different level of trust as it's been said, I love my folks more than my own life, and on any given day I'd take a bullet for them but there are certain things about my life I simply can not discuss with them... and in my opinion there's nothing wrong with that, not at all.
