Who do you trust? (pg. 6)

I trusted my father and trust my mother and my sisters. My older brother...I dunno, I guess I don't trust him because he abuses the powers that he has been given since my father passed away.
Of all my roommates, I would truly trust one but I love all of them. Of all my friends, I would trust one though she lies (no names, she's a TA), she'd never do anything to hurt me.
I trust Neo. He's the only one who sees me for what I am and doesn't get mad or make me crazy. And I don't think I make him crazy (I hope not). He's very calming and I feel safe talking to him.
Like Jamie, I'm always the strong one in relationships and I guess that gets old. I don't want to be the strong one.
And I guess, unlike Jennypie, I don't trust everyone. I'm superficially nice to everyone (cute smiles, the usual bs) but I'm very protective and I really don't reveal much of myself. I guess I think I'm so special, I need shielded from all of you evil people.
Yeah yeah, as someone in this thread said, I totally need to "get over myself."

No need to repeat it, but since there are different levels of trust, I think that at the moment, I have nobody to trust with my darkest and deepest secrets. |
That's ok, we ALL know you're an alcoholic - essentially, while you're in the "Guess Teh Cap" thread. :haha: |

same here. not only that, but whatever i tell her, she'll be cool with at first, but then use it against me later in an argument when it's convenient for her. i learned that the hard way.
i actually lie to my mom all the time. just for s and giggles. i can't stand it that she has to know every ing detail of my life, like what i got in the mail, whose house i'm going to, etc... if i'm going out with a friend i know she doesn't particularly like, i just lie to her, because i dont feel like dealing with her and i get some sort of twisted pleasure of knowing i'm just bullting her like 70% of the time. lol
i know this isn't exactly healthy, but she's nowhere NEAR being close to making a change for the better, and i don't like her blabbing her mouth to the whole family about everything i do, so i just lie. she's the only person in this world i do this to.
*ps- she's pacing around the livingroom on the phone right now with someone (a family member i think) talking about my uncle and whether or not he's going to visit for the holidays and BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA"

exactly. I Mean she's my mum, but she will talk about others instead of herself, sometimes to complete strangers. In spain in 2002, we went on a catamaran trip for 6 hours, and she pretty much gave out my life history to a woman she met there & then, i felt so facking small. |

Wouldn't she babble to the whole family about what you tell her anyway? |

| parents, girlfriend, about 5 close friends out of many who i still trust but not 100%..you can't trust many people...not because they aren't trustworthy, but because you may lose track of who knows and who dosen't. |

lol that used to happen to me too years ago... I just avoided the questions and tried to change topics, it always worked for me. I just told her small lies, not the perfect scene, but it didn't do any harm. Nowadays there's more honesty as we don't get to talk that often.
Even though she's the only person in the world you do that to, I would tend to think you still love your mom, which proves a point I was told long time ago, even if you don't trust a person with each and every little thing you could still love them to death and do anything for them. |

I trust the top 4 people in my myspace friends list probably more than anyone else.
Bas is well, bas. I've let Tigo drive me up Mt. Wilson here, on a windy little mountain road at night while he was tripping on mushrooms. I've let him drive on the freeway while on acid. Thats alot of trust right there :wtf: I trust Kristina with alot since she was the first person that got me to talk about what happened to my dad. I trust Jamie because, well, I dont really know. I havnt given her any of my passwords yet, but maybe I will! |

i might be the only one, but i dont trust my parents. My mum has a big mouth & is prone to gossiping to her mates, many times i've called into her work to pick some mail up (she works about 100 yds from the pickup place) and the bitch i hate on reception shouts something out which I wanted kept quiet, medically, personally etc. I love my nana, but i couldn't tell her anything, she has a very old fashioned view on life, and is beginning to go senile, i'd rather she didnt know things, to keep her faith in me as she has noone else, and my dad is just my dad, he's not done much for me as a father, so im not 'that' close to him, although since my parents split we've got closer, its easier not living with him |
You do what your mom does that you dislike?
Smack yourself! |
