these elections are for the Federal (Washington) representatives for each of our 50 states. similar to your House of Commons.
sorry, your Parliament and Senate. not House of Commons. i confused you with a lowly Canadian. |

Yeah our Parliament is split into The House of Representatives and the Senate... No executive branch as such.
In the US you have 2 Senators per state in the House of the Senate but something like 400 members in the House of Reps (called congressman??). Im guessing these are elections for the Senators? :confused: |
