| I'd buy a 2000 Si or an older GSR and run 7-8 LBS. The D is a great motor, but why not get 300 fwhp safely on a B16 or B18? You can prob get good money for your 2002. The D will always be limited unless you plan on doing the internals/sleeving it. If you're a power addict like me, 3-4 or even 7-8 PSI will get old in a few months. Throw it up to 10 or wait and do a full blown build. Personally, with a DJ setup like yours, I'd never leave my room. |

sadly though, the d17 is a huge pos compared to the d16. i'm happy with the looks and comfort of my ride so i don't really want to change rides. plus im not really looking for a full built ride, just someting that get me to point a to b a lot faster than my sub 100 whp lol |

i don't think i will ever understand the point of people throwing money into their cars for some extra horsepower... if you really want to go fast, IMHO, 2 wheels is the way to go (i think it was mentioned in the first page of the thread already)... once you do, u'll never look back.

You won't be able to.
Because you will be dead. |

thats a pretty useless reply, considering i'm still sitting here typing this. i don't disagree that its more of a risk to ride a bike, but its like the saying 'guns don't kill people, people kill people'.

| that is true though, bikes are amazingly fast. i once rode on my friends gsxr1000 and holy is all i can say. also last weekend i saw a boosted hayabusa at a bike meet that takes place in socal. that thing was a beast!! |
