Although you should have admitted this about 2 years ago, the fact that you've admitted it at all is a huge step forward. :toothless |

Forward to what? He is still a great dj like I have always said, I never said his current productions were any good. The only one I can really stand once in a while is Shivers because whenever he drops it in a club it seems to be at an alright time and everyone just gets excited for it. But yeah, anything he has produced after his 76 album has been pretty much as far as I am concerned. |

with all due respect sir mikey mike, it is a bit surprising to see armin release a housey track, he hasn't released anything house like since probably 1998 like the sample posted earlier. you and rebel9 being triumph in proving armin used to make house almost a decade ago somehow makes slagging paulandrews calling him a muppet to be ok and reasonable?
then you say you haven't heard anything from armin since 2003, i agree with paul again you have no place to talk to someone for being surprised.
doombot, push2005, paulandrews ... im on their side of the argument, it is surprising armin has released a housey sounding track, this track doesnt sound anything remotely similiar to anything hes done in a very very long time. |

Wrong. Gimmick - Free is from 2000. That's not too long ago considoring that he spent half of his career doing house music. I just couldn't stop feeling surprised that so many Armin fans didn't have a clue that he produced house a couple of years ago. Especially since he did produce with big house producers such as Olov Basoski. Just proves that the current Armin fans are just riding with the wind. The kind of fans which probably listens to Armin today and hiphop the next year. I am not a huge fan of Armin nowadays. I use to listen to him a couple of years ago before he produced like Shivers and Serenity. That's why I find it funny that his fans nowaday become so hostile when someone questions Armins current state and compares it with his older stuff. This is obviously meaningless since his new fans don't even know what Armin produced 5-6 years ago. |

What are you going on about? He used to produce house. His new track is house. Where exactly is the surprise here? What don't you understand? What tracks I may or may not have heard from his discography is irrelevant. Time, is completely irrelevant. Producers revert back / change their styles all the time. Why are people having such a hard time comprehending this?
And with that aside, we're hardly talking 10 years ago here anyway - I think his remix of Fuel To Fire came out in about 2002. That's a funny looking decade if I ever saw one. |

Not only is Zocalo but it rips off Airwave as well. |

A small consolation then. The more people piss this knob off, the more chance he'll have another paddy and quit. Again. |

No, I meant the track, not the producer. |
