What a shocker, a known producer does something 'different' and everyone jumps on the hate wagon!

Yeah, like they all here going to stay listening to the stuff they listening to ATM. BULL!

This is the best track Armin has produced in a long time. Well, the backing is, anyway. The vocals are a bit annoying, but there have been worse.

If he'd make more stuff like this and less like Shivers, then the world would be a better place.

(Lesson for producers: 1 - Don't change your style: This new style sucks! 2 - Do change your style: Your tracks all sound the same! :tongue3 )

Personally I enjoy music regardless who made it, what this person has done in the past, or if he is big in the scene or not. I simply don't care, because those things have nothing to do with the music itself.

Secondly, if I don't like a track (probably 99.9%), I know there are enough people who will like it still, so why talk about things you don't like? I wouldn't have time to eat or sleep if I would do so :)

As for the track: I really like the way the bassline sounds, and I always admire producers trying to break habits or styles :)

Bassline is great. The vocals need to take a hike.

Armin's remix from 1998, download the demo HERE (4 minutes, 3 megabytes) and just listen!

ROFL! - I never heard of that before. Even though King of my castle was cool at that time!

Btw: Armin van Buuren vs Herman Brood - Saturday Night is definitely NOT my kind of beef... The guitars remind me more of a rock song...

I'm not into house very much, but this track is not bad at all. No matter if Armin or not, or whoever...It's produced very cool and works well in a club...Vocals fit well, too.

Exactly, it's a lose-lose situation, you can't please everybody! The most important thing is that the producer likes the music he makes, if someone else happens to feel the same, great! If not, it's not the end of the world.

I really don't understand why someone would put energy into writing how much they don't like something when they could be writing about how much they like something. Seems like just a waste!

Ask that from yourself. After all you're just writing about something you don't like right there.

;)

Seriously, though...

It's not a bad tune, really. The vocals aren't exactly the best but I can live with them. I'd like to hear a bit more percussions in there though.

OMG, have u heard about the white person who went to harlem and didnt get shot or robbed?
that is shocking as well
Echo of Silence
It's okay. I think it would be better without the vocals. Bassline works.
