ok so after 7 years of partying i finally make it out to a tribal party well not counting what u hear at zone ......wasen't gonna let a flat tire and blowing the spare stop me.. and i have to say i have been missing out musicaly that was totaly the best nightever!!!!!!!! i usually wanna leave the club before the lights come on but i was hopeing the night would never end just sooooooo gooood WOW!! the club had a wikkid vibe with everyone into the music... i will definatly be seeing them the next time they come!!

im glad everyone had such a blast..... i arrived to the club around 3am, with a fairly bad headache - but upon entering the club, with the heat + blistering bass/beats nevio was laying down it eventually turned into a migraine. hit up tara for some 'pills' (lmao), then sat down in the back until C & C hit the decks. hit the dancefloor for the first part of their set and tried to shake it off, but it was too late at that point.
found myself in the back corner of the club, sprawled out until 7am and called it a night. but i must say, even with the splitting headache - i still have to say the beats were amazing. they completely took over the entire club, and people were going off when i left shortly after 7.
it killed me to leave just as the party felt like it was getting to 'next level ' status. this was only the second time ever i failed to stay until the lights came on when C & C were in town.
i guess i'll have to wait another three months (or so).....

I have come to the conclusion that I am just not a C&C or real fan of tribal. I arrived at the club just as C&C went on and stayed until about 8am and I was pretty bored by the tunes most of the night. There were some pockets of funkier stuff that got me moving and I enjoyed some of the tech house stuff that Chus dropped around 7am but after the flawless set from Lee Burridge at Footwork it all seemed a bit too poorly programmed and predictable for my liking. The teaser of Insomnia that was mixed in around 6:00 got the crowds attention but the mix was just outright brutal.
I think I can chalk up my disappointment up to mixing two styles of party in one night. Just didn't work for me.
One thing that you couldn't deny was that the crowd at C&C was awesome and it was so great to see so many familar faces on the dancefloor. Bit too crowded at points for my liking but great vibe all around.

If I didn't attend Footwork earlier on I might have enjoyed myself more...but still had an awesome time...tunes...tunes...asses everywhere...and..BAD CLOCK!!!!!!!!!! <3 more to come..much better set in March? or was it May? bah w/e.

Haha, more of the night is starting to come back to me. (Laura, great mini-vids) <3 it! I stayed until close, yes, first time for everything (what was the like just after 11am?). You know when everyone says right at the end is the best. I always thought, ok whatever, couldn't have been that great, just at the end? Come on ... Well they're were not lieing, 9-11am madness. But even the rest, awesome.
That's why they're my favourite, they bring the party and couldn't play any more to my liking than that.
My muscles hurt.
