I can't believe I missed this party!
It was my birthday bash and all my friends came out for this event and they said they had a really good time.
I attempted to take a nap at 10pm on Saturday to rest up for this party, but my phone kept ringing so I put it on silent. That was my big mistake because I ended up sleeping until 8am.
I was really pissed off, because I've travelled to Miami, Windsor and Ottawa to see these guys this year, and I missed them in Toronto on New Years and now my birthday. Grrr.
I went to Sonic at 10am on Sunday, and thankfully, the staff let me in. The party was winding down, and it was really hard to adjust my eyes to the darkness (coming in from the light)(I've done the opposite before-many times. The party ended at 10:45 and at least I got to hear some tunes, and say hi to Chus and Ceballos. Pablo made fun of me for sleeping in, but I'll see them in Windsor next month, so I guess it'll be alright... |

so that's what i look like from behind... lol. don't think i'll be wearing mostly white to sonic again. i prolly looked like a neon sign under those black lights.
i'm still trying to get over what an awesome time i had... even with my sprained right ankle which is still acting up btw. totally worth the pain. :) great seeing everyone boring holes into the dance floor. thank you chus & ceballos!! can't wait for next time. |
