We sure had fun. Didn't we? So much jumping was a nice workout. I am so happy you got to enjoy an entire set of the boys. Chus was amazing. Just what I wanted to hear.
Pablo is such a nice guy. Best story of the night: At around 10 in the morning, the club had slightly thinned out but it was still quite full. I waved Pablo down to dance on the dance floor for a bit. Well, he laughed and actually came down. Headed right for me and we danced for a little bit doing the signature tribal jump. Well, I guess Pablo quickly realized that it may have not been the greatest idea because every sketchbag wanted to talk to him. He sadly quickly ran away, but not before Rachel and I got a nice photo. Next time we will wait to dance later in the morning. Man, I love my best friends. ;)
Hope they had a great time in Toronto and I hope they had enough energy for Montreal. Man, they sure can produce a party night after night.
Thank you for the photo RJ. Lol! Can my hair be more of a mess? Thank God there is an excuse of dancing all night.

I just remembered, though I've seen them many times, I've never stuck around till the end (I normally don't last that long, but this time I made a point of seeing the hour of power before they shut it down lol). This particular time after the crowd started clearing, they were both standing around the door of the booth. Many know, they're my favourite and I wanted to meet them/thank them at least one time seeing them out. Pablo gave me a manhug instead .. hahaha

Eeeeeeeeeesh!
There was no way I was missing C&C...even if I was already worn out. I made my way to Sonic around 5:30, after the awesomeness at Footwork. I needed my fixture of tribal for the night. Unfortunately, it took longer to adjust to the atmosphere and sound...It's not easy going from one awesome party to another...and changing modes. Like I said earlier, if I had came solely to Sonic, I might have had a much better time and more energy to waste (not that I ever run out :cool:.) I had to take cool breaks here and there... I didn't pay attention to the crowd at all, but there was quite a handful of CW peeps. It was expected. I also saw some pretty funny sights... I managed to stay until the very end, which I don't even know when it was...too lazy to check the time. The last 2 hours were the most enjoyable for me, since I had finally got into the groove.
C&C played just a bit better than their last set. Each time I see them they get better. I noticed that I was more a fan of DJ Chus rather than Ceballos. Chus played mixed in some techy stuff in there which was awesome. Tribaliciousness! There was never enough of it...but their set was extremely predictable...no surprises...I was hoping they'd play some newer tunes, but I was a bit disappointed to hear alot of stuff they played last time. Besides some hot tunes by Ame, including Insomnia...which happened to be the first tune I heard when I got there, Rej, and some other tune that sounded like Rej recycled, Chus played one of my all time favourite tracks! I saw it coming from kilometres away...and I couldn't believe my ears. I thought I was becoming insane!...but no...everyone had heard the same thing...tick tick tick tick tick tick tick...here it comes...

OMG!!!! :eyes: Happy New Year Cribby! lol. My damaged and tired feet where floorwhoring and airwhoring. Pain? What pain?...I need no rest!....must press on...and destroy...the floors. yes! :D I also heard Gabriel Ananda - Dopplewhipper for the 2nd time that night! Another tune which is slowly becoming a fav of mine. Went nuts to this with the Ace of Clowns and MushyClown! One thing was missing from the set...Black Rain!! I kept bugging geroin, asking him if it had been played. I really wanted to hear it.
I don't know how I managed...but I did. It was quite a pleasure to see so many happy familiar faces, and it was tons of fun dancing it up with a bunch...especialy FRC...where a handful of us went totally crazy at some points. Definately the moment(s) of the night. I agree with Heidi, it was hard to enjoy two different types of mixing...but for the most part it was good. I've had better nights at Sonic, but I was not disappointed with the party.
