Please, the homeless would rather starve to death than eat english food.
I think the UK has a trade embargo on spice's from India and the Indies. |

2 things...
1 - If you refer to the 'What to eat?' thread, you would know that I dont eat fast food.
2 - Are you trying to say that there are no McDonald's in the UK? Dont be so hyppocritical... and see a dentist. |

maybe i get this wrong, but indian cuisine is the biggest in england now, more people eat indian than fish & chips. There's lots of west indian spices used too cos of the ex-pat community. Chinese, Thai, italian etc are all easy to find too. You wanna know the problem? Processed foods. When my brother first got to canada he was amazed at how much is overprocessed. People are too lazy to eat well, parents now bring kids up on junk, so of course they'll get fat. I've cut 2/3 of processed foods out of my diet, bar a couple which i love too much to |

you need to eat a proper roast mate :) A lot of our cuisine just comes from the cultures that settled here, fish & chips I dont know, cos im allergic to potatoes & dont like fish. I do good 'english' food but a lot of it will be unknown, pork fággóts is one, a spicy meatball in a rich gravy which is lovely, but i've never seen outside england. Fresh vegetables with lovely flavours & well cooked meats. Boring perhaps but it works for me :) |
