yea, it's good for them, but I'm having hard time using the envlope on it...it's really slow so it make annoying clicks...Roland says it was meant to be like that...but I don't see the point...I can get rid of them in a sec but then I lose most of the pluckish sound...then again only started learning, still got lots to learn.

If it clicks it means the envelope is too fast. That click is a quirk of many old analogues and it is often reproduced in digital instruments that try to mimic analogue behaviour. ImpOSCar's envelopes click like that for instance if you set the attack and release rotaries really low or on zero. The original OSCar did it too. There are some situations where you want really fast envelopes - as in synthesizing transient sounds like snare drums or bass drums.

I meant that it caused due to my envlopes being too fast for the jp...hehe..same thing in another way of saying it. :P
thanks for the info though bro!

I agree mate...plus the sounds just seem to slide into the mix perfect don't need much eq as it has the treble and bass setting.

Craig Bradley
Dreamworks VOL 1 AND 2 is a good set of banks and they are free...also rb2k1's banks are mint the second 1 has some nice fresh new sounds.

even though I like having presets, I hardly use them...I prefer making sounds from scratch...so it doesn't always matter I you can do something with them or can't.
