Wow I nominate Groundhog Boy for #1 case of tone coming out wrong on the internet. I can see him saying these things as he chews a steak, avoiding the onions. His meaning is completely different, in a way "arrogant," sure, if you wanna call it that, but in a sarcastic, extremely intelligent way, and the word tongue-in-cheek comes to mind often. ARRG I'm not making any sense and I'm probably coming off with the same incomprehensible tone that GHB is. :p I'll leave it at that.
And btw Vern, did it ever occur to you that YOU might be wrong? Just to take the focus off GHB for a sec, I found YOUR post inane because I can't remember a starker case of misinterpretation in TA history. |
