i am not for beating kids...but a fast one across the face wont kill them..
I used to hear alot of my friends call their parents stupid, idiots, dumb, bitch...and other disrespectful things
if i was to ever call my mom or dad any of those....i would get slap the spoon and the slipper....and i knew it, which is exactly why i never did it...
ppl need to feel that their parents have some kind of power over them and you have to listen...
pure words dont work in most cases....thats why we have shows like maury where ppl bring 10yr olds and cry about how they treat them...saying my 10yr old hits me and call me bitch and smokes weed...
i would be dead if i was to ever even think of doing any of those things..
so to wrap it up here is a famous phrase from my mother...
"I gave you life, and put u on this earth, so u better know i can take it away!"

I hear ya...but did you ask yourself why those kids would disrespect (god I hate that word, lol, but it works in this case) their parents in the first place? maybe because they have a relationship with them?
when kids turn out to be little s, I blame the parents first. Kids don't become disrespectful little thug pricks on their own...it's the environment they grow up in. Spanking or not spanking them doesn't make them "good people"...it just keeps them in line until their old enough to either hit you back or be kicked out of the house, lol.
, why not use a telephone book and a bat...no marks, right? :D |

| My dad abused us as children but not through our whole childhood. He had 3 wives and with each one he calmed down a bit, by the last one it was no more beatings and just well deserved spankings. Even as a kid I knew the difference. I knew when I deserved it and when he was just being a jerk. I have no problem with spanking today because I could always see the distinction. Hopefully if I'm ever stupid or unlucky enough to have kids I'll have a decent enough relationship with them to not have to spank but if I do, so be it. It's not criminal. Maybe not ideal, but it's not wrong either. |
