"I think there is no real scene there. I played there a couple of times, I will be back in New York in December, but I think there is no club scene in the United States. The American guys are playing more often in Europe or Japan or Australia or Asia than in America, because there is no culture there anymore. Music is coming from America but they don’t have any clubs.” - Ame

The U.S have some wicked venues by out of all the places ive played or just went to there is no vibe

Big names play in L.A or NY or Miami on every weekend but the scene is very lacking

Yup, there's no culture in America...

If you think there are no good parties here, you aren't going to the right parties...

I was going to say the same, and I'm in Wisconsin :wtf:

^exactly and good parties depend on good djs. If he finds himself with a pattern of crowds who consistently bores upon his mixing abilites, then as said above he might be going to the wrong parties due to a bad booking agent and so forth or he's really a bad dj in denial.

By the way, I never heard of Ame.

Allied Nations
He may have some point, but it's obviously a generalization- of course there is some vibe, maybe they just haven't felt it yet. I will agree that the vibe in english speaking North America is nothing like Europe or South America..

But then again, what do I know-

I've heard so many American's echoing that same idea... Not all, but a good few. I think if anything Ame means the mainstream edm scene isn't as good in the US/Canada. In Canada for exmample, Montreal is much more like Europe or South American in terms of vibe, but the rest of Canada... Much different vibe.

the US has consistant nights. Some of you folks need to actually get out.
