'Nice' as in 'best food, service and ambience' or 'nice' as in 'most expensive menu'? Because they are nowhere near the same, in my experience.

"nice" sure is a subjective term isn't it? |

ooh! PF Chang's is pretty good actually for being a chain. i love the atmosphere and the food and drinks are great! i had the mongolian beef i think...delish!
and houston's is sweet too. the one off atlantic right? on the intercoastal? all the sick yachts pull up outside to mingle during happy hour, and they have a pretty damn good filet:) |

That's the one. ;)
If you're into health entrees, I recommend Seasons 52, ftw. They're in Boca Raton, Palm Beach Gardens, and a little closer to you in Ft. Lauderdale. |

Blue Chili - 51st bet broadway and 9th - ambiance and decor compliment the asian infused entree's, it's all about lighting! Most notable entree is the asian duck in yellow curry sauce. Most notable sushi roll is the salmon crunch. [click for menupages]
Sambuca - w72nd bet Central Park West and Columbus Ave - home style italian with original dark/romantic decor. Great for 2 pairs to dine. Great wine list. Most notable entree is the shrimp parmigiana. Most notable appetizer is mozzarella in carrozza. [click for menupages]
Tony's DiNapoli - Upper East Side 2nd Ave between e83 and e84th street. Another family style italian catering to a more family environment. Food above par as decor lacks a bit in the originality. Most notable entree is the lobster ravioli. Most notable appetizer is the parmigian battered cucumber chips. [click for menupages]
Asiate - Time Warner Center Columbus Circle 59th Street - SPECTACULAR views of Central Park, located in the lower west corner looking out over the park. Portion size is mediocre compared to flavor quality. Most notable entree's is the black sea bass. Most notable appetizer is marble beef salad. Sit down is approximately $75 per person but you can consider the view as a trip to the top of New York with one of the most spectacular views. [mandarin hotel + views] [click for menupages]
Those are just a few from this wonderful city of New York! |

Soto Japanese Restaurant in Atlanta
I'm a big seafood and sushi fan so I asked my local sushi chef where the best sushi was and he told me "Soto". After doing some research, I discovered chef Sotohiro Kosugi was named the nation's top 12 chefs by Food & Wine Magazine. Named second best, next to Ritz Carlton in Atlanta by Zagats. That's pretty good for a sushi chef. ;)
So I make an appointment and happen to luck out where he was doing a 15 course dinner for a flat $80 per person. It is hands down the BEST food I ever put into my mouth. His dishes range from a soup that is served in a tiny teapot to kobe beef to fois gras to lobster sashimi. The entire dinner took 3 hours but man was it worth it.
Sadly he moved this restaurant to NYC last year. :( |
