A place in my hometown called "The Seasons," for an ex's parents birthday.
Dinner for 10 was $1400, drinks another $400.
Also, after we left, I went to Subway because while my 2 oz. steak covered in some sauce and dollop of mashed potatoes with cheese on them tasted great, it was more like an appetizer than an actual meal. |

not to mention, a lot of these big places like smith & wollensky pay for the ratings. they paid for certain mags to be rate it as whatever number out of top 10..etc..

I never read published reviews, on anything. They're too subjective, upon one other's taste. |

one of the best parts its the elevator.
at night, on the way up, u can see the city shrink below u.
and of course, u know the dining platform rotates for great views at night.
and if u know the secret password, they give you crack. |

I know, most of the places I listed are chain establishements. Yet, they're 'nicer' chain establishments, than your everyday chain you'll see on a television commercial. Also, face the fact, that I only lived in FL for eight months, know very few people, and have only been on a few dates, while I was living there.
Now that I'm back in NY 'til Spring Break, it'll give me more time to research what more South Florida has to offer, before I move back down there. |
Furthermore, I'll add that South Florida has raised the bar, with quality food chains, along with everything else in the retail industry. However, most people down there still get paid like crap. |

| i don't think price is the biggest factor in what the nicest restuarant is for me. probably my favorite restaurant that i've been to is this place called the chart house. it's right on the coast in malibu and over looks the ocean...it has a great ambiance and is really tasteful. |

That's what people get, out of an up-scale restaurant. I'm sure that Subway sandwich was more of a furfilling meal, as well. :haha: |

theres this awesome restaurant in greece, at this island called kalymnos.. i cant remember the name of the town, but i think the restaurant was called Smugglers or something...
The food was freaking awesome, never tasted better food since, and the staff was really cool.. I remember my uncle had his birthday, and my dad asked the chef if he could make baccalao, and he actually agreed to doing it. baccalao is like rotten dried fish boiled with like tomatoes and . Tastes like crap, but my dad's family is from a long line of fishermen lol..
Anyhoo, the restaurant was like openair kinda thing without walls.. And it gets pitch black out there in greece.. They turned off all the lights and , and came out with the food and sang happy birthday and stuff.. it was awesome lol..
edit: i googled the restaurant name, and the town was either called myrties or massouri.. can't remember which one.. |
