Why, Matter of fact, I do. I have a break beat's song I made. And I also have a mix I did with my freind. The song here is a break beats song.

I have been producing for 2 years of just learning and 3 years of actually doing stuff = 5 years if you wnat to count teaching.

You would rather pay tons of money on high end hardware compressors when you can have the industry standard software compressor, that does the exact thing, for less money? Ever use the waves renessance (spelling?) compressor? Its amazing, dont know how hardware could do a better job.

Yes as a matter of fact I will spend all that money once I have it. And industry standard? That's still hardware (fatman, focusrite, real nice compressor etc). Plus it's difficult to use a PC as an insert effect on yer mixer. Well you can of course, but then you use it for nothing else, and then still a compressor is cheaper than a pc with software. Not that I want to drag this argument all the way on. Nowadays the gap between hard and software is smaller of course, it's becoming more of a matter of taste. My taste goes to hardware.

extulas - Okay, well apparently he is an avid user of FruityLoops so it cant be that bad...

Oh and u have used these programs to make music... well thats okay then... :p

[Dan]
Mr.Mystery
You can't really say any program is crap if you can properly use them... think about that ;)

Hell, I could easily say that all hardware is useless and pure e just because I don't know how to use them...

OF COURSE software can't make sounds anywhere near as hardware, but that is not to say they are crap.
They give us (poor 18-year-old students) the possibility to make our dreams come true without needing to spend all our money on to something that would be gathering dust on some corner because it would be too hard to use...
