Couple of things I wanna say.
First, stories like this speak volumes about your character.
Second, you're pretty cowardly for bailing like that on a girl you asked out.
Third, you got to have a pretty closed mind to run away from your date just for expressing her unique point of view. She was just telling you how she saw the world, not askign you to join a suicide cult or anything. |

| what are you going to do if you went shopping at her work and she was on duty?? :conf: |

my theory is that she was testing to see how smart/open minded you were.
Shes probably used to little or no substance dating/guys so she probably just cut right to the chase. I bet if you had taken it seriously and offerd your own theory youd be making babies right now..
:tongue2  |

I actually really enjoy talking to people that have POV's out from left field. Either it's fun challenging them using different logic principles or just seeing how they arrived at their convoluted theory. I remember the first time someone went over chaos theory in relation to every aspect of my life. At first I thought he was just a math geek but then I opened up. What's the point of talking to someone new if they just have the same ideas as every other person you've ever spoken to.
Now that I think of left field ideas I asked a friend about what she thinks about house music and had her explain it to me. She's like house music is like the house dressing or house wine you order in a restaurant. You don't know exactly what it is, can't even identify it by name but goddamn you know you'll like it! ;) |

This is why I love you, Dima. You are always brutually honest without giving a . You put in such a nice way, not like I would have.
I really wish this thread was in the COR, because I would really really have said actually about what I thought about this "date". |

We should be old and then keep getting younger and enjoy life in that aspect as she belives it will be a better way and how it is right now is totally screwed up and its the reason for all the bad in this world. According to her by living backwards we would be more content with ourselves and the world be a better place.

i heard that somewhere before. you are born in your 80s, you do school and work till you're 25ish or so and then you retire. when you look at it it does make sense, those are the best years of your life.
that girl sounds awesome.

| Maybe there's more to the date story but from what you've revealed you shouldn't have walked out on her... she deserved more respect for being so open with you. I would love to meet someone like her. It's so hard to meet people with truly unique personalities or views. |
