Hey MtlTA's
I finally came around finishing a promo mix. It's quite different compared to my july promo; I've mixed up quite a few genres whilst still keeping true to my style, it's much faster-paced too and finally it's got a much greater power of hydrogen ;)

Oooooh you know I'm downloading this one.
I heard it from 6-7 onwards but I'm gona load it on my comp and give it a proper listen and then post my review :) But let's just see who's missing, who's back and who's new :tongue2
Marc Ashken, Metope, Extrawelt, Tejada, Schumacher....nowhere to be seen, perhaps the biggest surprise being the absence of Ashken..
but then we see the familiars:
Alex Smoke (:eek: could easily be my all time favorite Smoke tune), Stian Klo, Hugg & Pepp and not one but two Nathan Fake's....beautiful...people, the Stian Klo track is an especial killer!!
and lot's & lot's of new faces! a nice shout-out to the upcoming Adam Beyer with a lesser known track..nice..and Gabriel Ananda, that song, Vath-like like no other :crazy:

Leaving ashken out of this promo was a choice that I wasnt entirely happy about, but it was a sacrafice I had to make to bring my sound to a new direction, nevertheless my ear is superglued to his releases!
He performs live now, on tour for leftrooms 1st year anniversary, but I believe he still does odd dj sets ;)
Stian Klo's OFAN is one grooved-out beat, you gotta love those odd high end samples, hoovering chords and the simple acid-synth rhiff ;) |

It shows that u upped the bpm in this one hehe,
The ending is sick, im not too crazy about one or two of the tracks, but i just listened to the set once. Definitly a different vibe compared to your other ones, so its good. Ill post a review soon. |
