Would you post the calendar in that format if all you had to offer was Oscar G, Cedric, Ivano, and Boris (as the only visiting/guest DJ) for the next month? |
No, but the calender included like the hole year before I think?? |

I do not think it ever was a year long. Maybe as much as 5 or 6 months max. They would post it in summer for dates through the end of the year. I think they probably do not have that many bookings confirmed (just look at what happened with AVB), and therefore are not doing it at this time.
And note that most DJs are in Europe and Ibiza during summer. Miami is a winter town, peak season actually being October through the end of March. As September/October approaches maybe/hopefully we'll get a full events calendar from Space. If we are lucky the highlights will not be Oscar G and Cedric. (no offense to them intended). |

Only in their dreams could he take AVB's place in any respect. And Space has Boris in their mainroom that same day. :o :( I heard Space will be giving out free pillows and/or a noosed rope to every one that walks in the door that night.
As I stated in another thread, I think AVB was booked for Friday not Saturday. That being the case and Labor Day weekend being a long weekend, we may still get some trance that weekend at Space. Although judging by who they are booking so far it is not loooking too good so far, as they seem content to bore us with another weekend of the same-old house music. |

Do not get me wrong, as far as house is concerned Roger S is alright. I heard some of his set at GG before heading over to see sasha and digweed, and it was not bad. Roger knows how to put sets together nicely and better than most house DJs we get, although at times I find him to be boring. I just had to point out his inability to replace AVB (IMO), and fact that it is for a completely different night. And wouldn't it be great if Space could book someone different than the same house DJs over and over. Judging by prior posts I think you like your music a little techier and harder. If so I guarantee you that if Space were to bring Carl Cox you would be saying "Roger who?" after you heard him play. Or go see Nic Fanciulli next time he plays the mainroom at Space. They each bring it nasty, and were some of the first DJs that convinced me that not all house sucks.
But I understand what Space is doing. Music aside it would be worth going to Space that night merely for the number of girls that will be on that terrace for Roger's set. The girls love him, and the Space terrace has been getting insane lately. Therefore I would predict madness that night, and will probably make it out there for the terrace. I doubt anything better will come up for that night, and again can only hope that Space throws in a little trance for that weekend. |

I hope you are joking. We all know the king of Miami is LP or whoever he says is the king on any given week. :haha: This is dictated by who is playing Space that weekend. Last week Oscar G was king, this week it's Cedric, and when roger comes he will be the new king until the next week. They usually say "long live the king." Well such is not the case in Miami.
And yes armin was on friday the 1st, not Saturday the 2nd, which I pointed out in my original post. |
