Well, it's not that I have missed him on purpose. I missed the entire WMC scene this year, and doubled with the fact that I've only recently turned 21, I haven't been able to catch many DJs at all. Partly why I frequent Montreal 2 times a year or so, see some big gigs up there.

Im not blaming you bro.LOL.. Im just trying to get the point accross to go see him. He's awesome that's it.
Never say die!
Hey Raul just wondering how you have been?! Hope all is well! It looks like there are some great shows coming up. What is up with relik and groove...don't they do the Blue thing anymore?

This is a cross-post from another forum. Not 100% sure on the validity of it, but it's noteworthy enough to mention it. The post is in regards to Nic Fancuili and James Zabiela's May 22nd booking at the Club @ Firestone in Orlando.

--------------------------

This show has been cancelled due to circumstances outside of our control. This is the letter we recieved from their booking agency.:::

To our Orlando Fans,

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will be unable to include the Firestone event in our One + One tour this year. We are looking forward to making up this gig with solo appearances in the future. Thanks for your support and understanding.

Best,

Nic Fanciulli & James Zabiela

Fake or not, brings a tear to my eye.. sniffles. :sadgreen:

They suck together anyways they have no flow at all they are better seperate. Also Fanciulli picks excellent tracks but his mixing is trash and he is the only dj that i've ever seen at Space that has completly trainwrecked to a stop everytime he has been at Space 4 times. On the terrace last year when he was with Woolford he had the worst trainwreck ever at Space(and ive been there a couple times to know).
Also i went to pawnshop this weekend to see Robbie Rivera and he really really sucks bad, he made 3 people in front of me puke.He just dropped the cheesiest commercial electro bull!!!Some people can spin good electro and some people just spin the commercial crap and i got enough filled with crap from Rivera to last me for a month. Also Danauld Glaude sucked too, horrible mixing,no flow.I've seen Glaude/Rivera many times, they have been good but never horrible like the other night. They suckkkk.

I dunno, together I think they bring both of their qualities together to overcome their lesser skills. The Essential Mix they did from WMC was great, though I suppose if you didn't like the tracks they selected then you wouldn't like the mix anyway. Anyhow, I had seen Fanciulli in Montreal at Stereo and he killed the place. So alone he is just fine, might just be the atmosphere of the club perhaps.

Your talking about the BBC radio 1 essential mix from the Surfcomber.I was there all day and Fanciulli did nothing but pick the tracks and so you know you basically just said what i said about them. Also if you think that was a great set from Zabiela or Fanciulli then i think you are off base because everyother time i've seen Zabiela/Fanciulli i liked them way better by themselves.Fanciulli is fun but i've just seen him way to many times make glaring mistakes.

Finally some action in Bore-lando!

Firestone doesn't have the james & nic show on their site, that blows. They should burn that club to the ground. They haven't had a show there since pvd last fall, it too sad to drive pass that place and think what it use to be.
