I like Armin, but some people feel that same way about him doing a 9 hour event.
And I am an equal opportunity joker so let's just say I agree Tyas could not do a 9 hour event because he would run out of his own productions/remixes/reworks to play. Although I heard his rework of the national anthem is brilliant.
But put Tyas in Space to play 2 or 3 hours on a trance night and I guarantee you he would pull it off.
BTW spill the beans already and tell us where Armin will be playing during conference (since Space is reportedly out). My guess is Twilo or Mansion???? |

I remember that night, I think it was Remy, Armin and Markus closing @ the old Liquid space b4 they renovated it to become Suite. They called it Spin that conference and actually had a bunch of good parties there because Space booked so many DJs that they didn't fit @ Space. Oh how times have changed, as now it's the same 5 DJs playing Space over and over again. Armin actually played really good that night, but they had no AC in there and it was like a sauna if you danced for more than 10 minutes at a time.
And BTW Sander van Doorn will be in NYC the first week of February. |

I was there last night for Scratch D & Art Fresh & Trip Theory..
brought back a lot of good memories.

I had a blast! They dropped some nasty OLD SKOOL(I know spelling) bass tunes.... GOOD VIBE LAST NIGHT....
I've seen J&H a couple times last year @ Revolutions & also @ Metropolis I think it was.

edit - and by remote trance.. u mean as remote as the nile river. they make trance tracks... but spin house @ wet grooves. i don't even know what to expect from them @ space.

mel, i just talked to bo (hes my boy, went to hs together) and they will be rockin out trance @ space. they played house at wg bc its a house event and thats what that crowd expects...i was there too. i admit it was a bad idea mixing house and trance productions under the same f&p project (vandit, subliminal, etc) and the boys are aware of it...they are sticking to strictly trance under F&P from now on like the good old days, and a completely diff project for house. it wasnt the best idea confusing ppl but hey, dont hate on them as they are learning too :) for the record, i saw u flipping out on the forums about their track anthem when you first heard it @ pvd, and once u found out it was them u changed ur tune. no offense but it seems like datt has u whipped. i just heard a set of theirs on sirius and it was pretty much all trance for the record. ill ask him to upload it!
