My bestfriend got all for taken out within 2 weeks apart from each visit. I felt so bad for her, had to take care of her for about 2 weeks until she got a lil better.
I hav a 90% possibility of them just never growing in, I 'll take that chance. |

Yes it's expected to experience some temporary discomfort while they come in. I never needed braces but it's true that my lower left wisdom tooth pushed one of my molars out of alignment a bit because it came in at a bit of an angle. Due to the position of that tooth it's not really noticeable though, so it doesn't bother me in the least. Although if I ever wanted to have braces for cosmetic reasons, that one wisdom tooth would probably have to be removed. |
Both me and my brother had our wisdom teeth removed after the teeth had come in. And neither of us noticed much discomfort while they came in ("came in" that just doesnt sound right).
For my brother the wisdom teeth had visibly screwed the alignment of much of his teeth up and the dentists claimed it would just get worse if the wisdom teeth remained. He is now contemplating braces at 20 years old.
He had ignored the advice of dentists to remove his wisdom teeth before they came out as well. So maybe the dentists are not completely lying about this procedure. |

I didn't even take the pain meds because vicodin is worthless as a pain reliever for me. |

My wisdom teeth were fun. I had all four of them removed at the same time. I barely remember it, but I'm told I vomitted blood on the car ride home. I never had to use the painkillers; all I'd felt was a bunch of pressure, no real pain at all.
They did give me percocet, though. The bottle is still sitting in the cabinet unopened, in case we ever have a need for it. |
