lol ihavent tried myspace but facebook looks ideal for stalkers haha
"hi i know you from my university i see you walking sometimes "
LOL
i especially enjoy the poke function.. im sure theres some sort of sexual connotations towards that term |
Myspace is much more stalkerish than Facebook if you wanna go down that road. At least in Facebook the person has to be in your immediate network (like same school) to see your profile. |

eXactly...
Plus i've found so many friends that I haven't talked to in a while.
Facebook is awesome because it starts a snowball affect.
Someone from my highschool created a group, and I saw that one of my friends joined, so I joined and found out so many of my stupid friends (ie. non university ppl) had facebook. Good times. |

this is one of the drawbacks of myspace. People that shouldn't be allowed on the internet are all of the sudden given the creative freedom do design their own webpages, usually resulting in some serious atrocities. And whoever thought of allowing people to put music on their webpages should be shot. |

what is so bad about a producer/dj being able to promote their music? |

There's nothing wrong with a producer/dj promoting their music on there. That aspect is great (although I wish the music wouldn't automatically play/crash my browser). It's everyone else that has music in their profile thats a problem. |

Like I said earlier, I don't have Facebook, but the point of it seems to be to meet other people in college/univeristy, am I right? If not, I apologize for the misconception.
If so, for those of us done school, or for those of us who want to meet new people from all over, it seems kind of pointless. Myspace lets you meet people from all ages all over the world.
Sure there are people that ruin the site by putting things on their pages that take 8yrs to load, or offend you, but that happens in life. If you don't want them to be your friend, you don't have to add them. |

Fair enough.:) I agree about the music browser.. It only works about half the time for me, which is quite annoying. |
