They are two totally different things and productions shouldn't get someone up on a "DJ" list. |

All i've got to say is: If Lawler isn't #1, then it's a bull listing :o

I wouldn't go as far as mentionning Porter dude. He's still pretty damn decent. IMO.

The list is available on www.djmag.com.
I browsed the list and see that Techno is taking a dive. I don't know if Misstress Barbara made it in last year, but she's no longer there. Tiga is still around. Still no Preach. The top 10 is interesting for sure....glad that DJ DAN made such a leap!
It's funny since his last two shows here in Montreal were not super packed. I heard Aria was dead and House was really dry.
I guess only days till everyone is on this topic!
Peace,

I just noticed something...
How is Benny Benassi ahead of Sander K, Ritchie Hawtin, Steve Lawler and Chris Liebing????? :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:
and another thing to take note about DJ Dan:

| i never hated on the djmag poll, but this year, it's a joke, seriously. no misstress? thats ed, shes been on point. No preach, Mauro Picotto drops 43 places in a year when he has one of the most successful club nights in Ibiza? Paul Oakenfold 14th and Steve Lawler is 38th? Whats oakenfold still doing there in the first place? |

oken '' folded'' is gonna need at least a decade with his pull to be removed from the top 100

from djmag.com:
"The USA provided the most votes in 2006, closely followed by the UK, and then Germany."

Yeah, DJ Dan's show at Aria was ridiculously empty. I got there with 5 people at around 6am and there were about 120 people there. When I left at 9:30am there were like, uh, 30? They barely had lights on all night in attempts to hide the emptyness, which was pretty disappointing since the set he played was ing money.
Like I said, bring him back to Montreal to a venue that isn't dead. |
