Well at any rate...BMI bull or not...I know I'm healthy. This is not the kind of I get even remotely worried about. I don't even own a scale!

I'm sorry but if you're a 6' 140 lbs male you are not in anything even remotely resembling decent physical condition. You should be 175-190 at a minimum, and if you're serious about keeping in good health your frame could probably easily support another 20 lbs of muscle beyond that (or more, depending on some other physiological differences not measured by height).

Obesity gets all the attention but there are close to as many people who are chronically under-weight.

thats bull.. it also depends on your skeletal system and genetics.

I'd say im at the healthiest point in my life right now at 143 lbs 5"11 at an extremely low body fat percentage.

my endurance is pretty high and i can do 1 handed chinups (opposite hand at the shoulder trap area) and bench press at least 40 lbs well over my weight.

BMI doesnt mean didly squat really. It depends on your frame, skeletal structure and genetics. I dont have the skeletal structure to be over 160 lbs. (without serious supplementation)

So dont tell me that being 140 lbs is unhealthy :p

According to this, Im not healthy at all. My "ideal" weight is between 90 and 110 pounds, and I havent weighed that since I was in junior high. Maybe middle school.

Aaaaaaaaaaaghwhores.

How tall are you, Angie? I think one of my roommates told me if you (female) are 5'0, a good weight = 100 lbs and then 5 lbs for ever inch thereafter if you are of normal frame and build. Are you shorter than 5'0"?

Im 5 feet and three quarters of an inch.

BMI is Bull Mass Index.

It doesnt take into account things like muscle mass or bone density.

I'm 5'11" at 187lbs, and it says I am slightly overweight.

LOLZ, I am borderline underweight actually.

+ 1

I figure I am out of shape when I look in the mirror when I am in a bikini and I am not happy with what I see. I couldn't care less about "BMI", "averages" and "body fat" .

Anyway, mine says I am 20.1. According to the chart, I am perfectly smack dab in the middle of my best weights.

I personally think I need to work out more :)
