the fact that GB averages more yards per game doesnt mean much for the following reasons:
The bears average starting field position is typically much better than the packers because of all the takeaways they create, hence they have less yardage to march to the end zone to score.
This can be evidenced by how many points bears have scored so far and how many packers have scored so far which is:
Bears: 221
packers: 152
also, the yard per game differential beween Chi and GB is 11 yards at (347 vs. 336) - hardly massive
as for who sits longer on the sidelines. Gb is averaging 30 minutes per game of ball possession and the bears 32 minutes ;D |

I think my lack of an emoticon misplaced the intentions of my post. I'm just looking for some good-natured Packers v. Bears ribbing, nothing more and nothing less.
See Yuris that's all I wanted was some good statistical evidence. I am the first to admit that the Bears dominate Green Bay this year (and likely will for some time). The proof is in the pudding! |

eh, it ebbs and flows, the average turnaround for a team from superbowl caliber to suck-fest to superbowl caliber is about 15-20 years.

| Still figuring out if I can make it. I dropped waaay too much cash at my friend's wedding this weekend so we'll see how feasible it is. I'd definitely like to though, if only to see you two animals decked out in Macho Man coats in FOUR. :) |

Well I spent several hundred on the hotel / tuxedo rental, plus the price of drinks both before and after the wedding and meals downtown that weren't a part of the wedding.
All of the wedding itself, including a large portion of alcoholic beverages, was, in fact, paid for. |
