| Would be nice if everyone in the world actually used the same system, and that would be the metric as it's much more accurate. |

The term "gas" in reference to petroleum is actually a short form for gasoline... which is actually more specific then petroleum as it relates to only one type of oil based fuel whereas petroleum could be employed in reference to any oil based liquid or semi-solid. |

| Last night I was doing some work around the Hazard residence and came up with another reason why the US should switch..... SO I WOULDN'T HAVE TO KEEP TWO DIFFERENT SETS OF TOOLS!!!! Thanks to our intregrated economies about half the in my house has imperial sized fasteners and half have metric. The end result is I have to have tools for both.... "is that a 3/4 or a 18mm? , I stripped it, must have been 3/4!" |

It'd be super nice if we all used the same currency and spoke the same language, too. |

But when every single country in the world uses the same system except one, you gotta wonder wtf is going on?
Im glad you brought up integrated currencies and language though. Most people in the EU can now speak english and they have combined all their currencies into the euro.
It would be a great idea if north america had one currency but of course the US would never let that happen because they are too stubborn. Americans cant even get used to a $1 coin never mind a whole new currency!
There are many things about the US that are in fact the best in the world. But in cases where things arent the best, americans refuse to learn lessons from other countries.
Sadly Canada is becoming more like that too these days. But we still have a little bit of hope LOL |
