Best way NOT to celebrate Halloween

So my wife went KOOOOO KOOO on me and told me that she is not celebrating Halloween because it is "a devil worshiping tradition". :nervous:   :clown: mmm okay.

I don't care much for it and I found it rather funny but , I could care less if bunch of spoiled brats will have a 1/2 pound less candy if that's her choice. So, I made a sign below:

Now I'm wondering:

1. How many kids will TP our house next year on mischief night?

2. How to most effectively ignore the visitors that I am sure will not even bother with the sign?

3. How can I convince her that she's just a woman with a small brain? With a brain a third the size of us. It's science.

hm... I'd go see "the departed" but I have to do some around the house... :( bummer. oh well. let's see how effective this will be.

anyone else not celebrating halloween?

Do kids actually tp these days?

I've never seen it done! I think they're too scared they'd get shot or something :p

I never gave candy to kids expect once when I was at some of my friends house and we were tripping balls .... almost call some of them little ******s for being disrespectful

I could only give apples to like 3 kids tonight (when I say 'kids', I mean mini -chavs). They didn't mind probably because their bags were bulging with a lifetime's worth of hyperactivity anyway.

just fill up a bowl of garlic salt and leave it outside

Uhhh...wouldn't it have been easier just to turn the porch light off? :conf:

^^ then they wouldn't see the sign and think we're trying to spook them. My doorbell would be ringing like mofo, every 2 minutes.

My store has been selling TP like crazy the last couple of days. Eggs, too, and they're not on sale. You can typically tell whenever someone's house is going to get hit if either of those items sell around Homecoming, Prom, Halloween, Fourth of July, etc.

I find Halloween geh. I don't know, every year it just kept annoying me more and more. So what I do is eat my own candy.:toocool:

LOL

washout
if your not extending your halloween spirit in the form of candy to young kids you do not turn your porch (or equivalent)light on.
errecting (i like the word) a sign reading "no tricks or treats" extends a welcome for mischief from young kids.
additionally, prepare to be frowned upon by your neighbors.
